Drummond Island is known as “Michigan's Ultimate Playground" and is the second largest fresh water island in the nation. Tourists have the option to sail across to Drummond Island or catch the ferry across from Detour, MI. The island boasts plenty of recreational activities from sailing to bird watching and from geocaching to golfing.

Stop by Big Shoal Bay for a relaxing afternoon on the sandy beach located on the southern edge of the island or take a hike on the Heritage Trail on your way to Drummond Island Township Park to enjoy camping, fishing and the public beach.
